People think cleaning their bongs is hard. If you use tobacco in your bong or pipe you will need to work a little harder to get the nicotine out, but generally most cleaning products are a solvent with an abrasive (usually salt). Shake before use.
What are bong cleaners made of?
Bottled cleaners contain a solvent (usually acetone) and an abrasive (usually salt).
How do I use cleaners?
For bongs you want to ensure there is cleaner in every section of the bong (so if there are percs, work the cleaner through the percs). Plug the mouthpiece and downstem hole and shake vigorously until all the residue is knocked off (shouldn’t be more than 5 minutes–but if you use tobacco be prepared to shake longer).
Alternatively you can just let it sit for an hour or 2 and it will rinse out easily. We usually do it before bed and rinse in the morning (but please note, this method can remove labels and some finishes on bongs).
Put pipes, bowls and downstems into a ziplock. Using a bag is great because pipes and downstems are usually too big for things like cups or mugs. Rinse until there are no bubbles left.
Should I use hot or cold water?
You can use hot water as long as you don’t quickly switch to cold. You need to gradually go (over the course of a couple minutes to be safe) from warm to cold or vice versa. If you go too quick the glass will break.
What is special about the candles?
The candles we source are specifically meant to kill smoke odour. The candles burn for up to 30 hours and smell good until there is no wick left! Great to light while smoking or after for stealthiness.
What is a spoof?
