Week 4: My Organic Reactor was clutch!

Week 4: My Organic Reactor was clutch!

Posted by Jennawae McLean on 2019 Dec 27th

Strains in the tents:  White Widow, Spanish Mango, Juice Box, Ayahuasca Purple.

Grow method:  Indoor SCROG (although the screen is not on yet) with LED.

LED Details:  2x California Lightworks 1100 + 2x California Lightworks 550, on our VEG 1 setting of 60: Red, 99 White, 99 Blue for 20 hours.

Gear I am using:  Pure Tents, California Lightworks 1100s and 550s LEDs and controller, Pure Pots (20 gallon), Promix HP, solo cups in various sizes, Lock Down Pads.

I definitely have this nursing thing figured out.  I turned the dehumidifier back on and have been letting it dry out, just watering a little bit every other day (with only 4ish plants its pretty quick compared to when I have 30!)  The Organic Reactor application worked on all the plants and everything bounced back.  There was not a lot to see (these guys are still so small), but remember that any yellowing or variation of colour at this stage is a warning sign.  The first few weeks from seed usually look very uneventful but a lot is happening below the surface.  If everything goes well for the rest of the week we should have a bunch of nice leaves developing!

Strain name:  Spanish Mango
Genetics:  An early phenotype of Soma's Somango bred out by a friend in the North of Spain.
Flowering time:  8-9 weeks
Yield:  Average
Level of difficulty: Medium
Notes:  LOL what a shitty picture I took!  Here is my BLURRY-ASS Spanish Mango.  While I should have just not included any picture based on this, at least you can tell that everything has returned to green and we have some true leaves trying to make their way out.  Hooray!

Strain name:  White Widow
Genetics:  Brazilian X South Indian
Flowering time:  8-9 weeks
Yield:  Heavy
Level of difficulty:  Easy
Notes: Still a pretty shitty picture but at least you can see some of the yellowness from the overwatering is still working itself out in the White Widow.  Surprisingly the one that was in the cup ended up doing better so I switched them out, and now the one that was in the cup is planted (as you see in this picture).

Strain name:  Ayahuasca Purple
Genetics:  Red River Delta X Masterkush
Flowering time:  9 weeks
Yield:  Heavy
Level of difficulty:  Easy
Notes: This was my number one most vigorous--the first to germinate and stretch and she seems to be a day or 2 ahead of her sisters.  No issues with overwatering here, we are all set!

Strain name:  Juice Box
Genetics:  (Cannalope Haze X Juanita La Lagrimosa) X Jack The Ripper
Flowering time:  10 weeks
Yield:  Average - Heavy
Level of difficulty:  Medium
Notes: Bow chicka wow healthy plants chicka wow!  My little Juicies are both looking really sharp.  This is my favourite strain of the 4 (although I haven't tried or grown the Ayahuasca Purple or the Spanish Mango yet so maybe I should hold my vote!  But I am nursing the one in the solo cup along because if any of the others crap out I for sure want to have a back up!
