Calyx + Trichomes is an independent, family and activist owned cannabis store in Kingston, Ontario. We have achieved top sales for our region (which is everything east of the GTA) because we have one of the sharpest, friendliest, most enthusiastic teams in the whole province.
We have the lowest prices in Kingston guaranteed. We dedicate hours a week to ensure our prices are the best. If you find the same item for even a penny less, take a screen shot and come on in to either of our locations. If the match is valid we will beat the price on the spot. You are guaranteed the best price locally when you shop with us!
We have the freshest inventory in Kingston. We believe in full transparency. We list package dates on our menu, and put items on sale as the package date gets older. We are the only store in Kingston that receives fresh inventory at both locations every Wednesday by 4:20 PM.
We have the largest selection in Kingston. We have over 4000 items in our inventory and add more every week! If there is something we’re missing just let us know and we will try to stock it for you next week.
Do you sell cannabis?
Yes! We sell all regulated cannabis products. This includes all products with THC like dried flower, pre-rolled joints, vape cartridges, edibles and drinkables concentrates like hash, wax and shatter. We also sell CBD products like oils, capsules, creams and even bath bombs!
Do you sell accessories?
Accessories are always available. This includes glassware like bongs, bowls, downstems and pipes, our favourite dry herb and concentrate vaporizers.
How do I place an order for pick up?
Fill your cart with everything you need, head to check out. You can check out with an account or as a guest. Make sure your cell phone is correct (this is how you’ll be notified your order is ready). If you don’t have a cell phone, please choose email notifications. Hit complete and get your reservation number. When you arrive at the store, give the cashier your number.
How do I place an order for FREE delivery?
We deliver to the city of Kingston (south of the 401) and Amherstview.
Orders over $50 get FREE delivery. If you just don’t need that much we also offer FLEX delivery for $5 with a $14.75 minimum.

Make sure your cell phone is correct (this is how you’ll be notified your order is ready and how you will eventually be able to track your driver). Hit complete and get your reservation number.
Orders leave in batches starting at 11 AM daily. You will receive a notification once our driver has your order and another notification when they are on their way to you. An adult must be home to pay for and receive the order.
Deliveries can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 hours. Expect delays around holidays. If you are going to be delayed more than 3 hours, our team will contact you.
What forms payment do you accept?

How often are new products received?
We receive new cannabis every Wednesday. Our website will reflect new inventory as soon as it is input into our system (usually no later than 4:20 PM). We usually receive accessories a couple times a week (could be any day or time Monday to Friday).
Is THC + CBD accurate online?
We try our best to keep our THC/CBD values as accurate as possible. If THC/CBD changes it takes about 15-20 minutes for our website to reflect these changes. It is as accurate as we can possibly make it.
How does the price match guarantee work?
We always try to have the best price for any product we sell in town. If you notice a local competitor has a lower price after tax on any item we sell, we will always beat it. This includes sale prices. Take a screenshot of the lower price and come into the store. We’ll verify the price, then beat it for you.
How do I make an exchange or get a refund?
ALL SALES FINAL
Exchanges with receipt and original packaging are available in the following circumstances:
1) You purchased an incorrect size or piece for your glass or vaporizer. Calyx + Trichomes will do a direct exchange for the same item in the correct size.
2) A product is unused and defective out of the box. If there is no resolution or fix available, Calyx + Trichomes will exchange for the same item that is non-defective.
3) A product is used and not working but has a manufacturer warranty. If there is no resolution or fix available, Calyx + Trichomes will refer customers to the appropriate manufacturer so they can complete the process for replacement.
4) A product is used and not working but has an in-store warranty. If there is no resolution or fix available, Calyx + Trichomes will exchange for the same item that is non-defective. Before anything happens, our team will first troubleshoot the issue (what can we say? Sometimes we have the magic touch!) They will then determine the next course of action.
5) You purchased a cannabis product that is missing an excise stamp.
6) You purchased a cannabis product that has visible mould.
7) You purchased a cannabis product that has damaged packaging.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, and you must have the receipt (either original or email copy). Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.
All other products are exempt from being returned or exchanged.
What is the minimum age to enter the store?
Customers must be 19+ to enter the store (the legal age in Ontario).
How do coupons + discounts work?
Everyday discounts are applied automatically in store and online, no action required from you. There is no limit to the everyday discounts that may be applied.
We also offer a military discount of 10% for our active service members and veterans. Thank you for your service. Just show us a valid military ID, temporary ID, CF1 card or 404 ID. Please note, military discounts are for military personnel only–we do not offer military discounts to family members or civilians working on base.
Are you affiliated with 420 Kingston?
Yes, 420 Kingston was a head shop and seedbank and our first store that we opened back in 2010. For years we fought for legalization. When it finally came we decidede we needed to develop a new brand just for cannabis retail.
Do I recognize that Great Dane from 420 Kingston?
Yes, that’s Harry! Or you’re thinking of his brother, Quincy, who passed in 2020 🙁
Harry is in the store most days as our security, but as he’s getting older sleeps a LOT more.
Can I bring my well-behaved pet in?
Yes, as long as he is 19 dog years old.
Just kidding.
But our security dog is very suspicious of other dogs in our space. Please give us a minute to make sure he is assigned to other detail.
What's with the name?
Calyx + Trichomes–we get it, it’s a mouthful!
Calyx: Prounounced KAY-licks: A protective layer that forms over the developing flower.
Trichomes: Prounounced TRY-combs: Resin that forms a protective barrier on cannabis and contains terpenes and cannabinoids like THC and CBD. It’s the crystal you see on your cannabis!
When we started developing this brand in 2018, the provincial regulations were not yet defined. Based on the proposed Cannabis Act, certain elements of our 420 Kingston brand (specifically having Great Danes as mascots) were non-compliant. We didn’t know what else would be considered off-side.
We decided to go with the most innocuous, anatomical name we could think of that would still pay tribute to our seedbank roots. We figured if you knew what they were, you would be in good company and if you didn’t you wouldn’t clutch your pearls when walking by.

What you see is what you pay. We've included tax since we opened for business in 2010, when we had an old school cash register and couldn't figure out how to program it! Plus stoner math is hard! Tech has since updated but we remained true to our roots!

For orders over $50. If you don't need that much weed we also offer $5 Flex Delivery for orders over $14.75. We deliver within the city of Kingston and Amherstview south of the 401. Deliveries leave at 11AM and run until close daily.

We are possibly the only store in the world that lists the package date on the menu. You can even sort by freshness. In addition to our price matching discounts, we also discount aged inventory based on package or harvest date (not when we received it).
