Inventory Specialist

Start date: TBD. Depends on when the store receives a license to sell cannabis.

Summary of primary responsibilities:
• Ensures all inventory is organized and correctly accounted for.
• Ensures shelves are stocked properly.
• Ensures all orders are packed in a timely manner.
• Ensures website accurately reflects inventory in store.
• Updates inventory system and website with new merchandise.

Responsibilities in detail:
• Packs/unpacks and ships/receives all orders.
• Updates product information and pictures online as products are received.
• Ensures inventory numbers instore and online inventory are correct.
• Supports cashiers by ensuring products are within reach.
• Maintains a tidy workspace and shop (in downtime).
• Ensures all patrons are behaving lawfully while in the parking lot, nearby outdoor area and in the space.
• Supports sales staff in retrieving items for customers.
• Supports management as needed.
• Ensures records are kept impeccable to help management with weekly inventory submissions to the AGCO.
• Ensures shelves are stocked properly.
• Ensures compliance of all Registrars Standards, and federal and provincial laws pertaining to cannabis.
• Must successfully complete CannSell Standard certification prior to first day of work (and any other training as designated by the AGCO).

Minimum Qualifications Applicants Must Meet:

• Must be able to provide a current CPIC that shows no charges under the Cannabis Act and no links to organized crime.
• Must have experience managing inventory (preferably in a Shopify environment).
• Must be 19 or older.
• Must submit a cover letter and a resume.

• $16+ per hour depending on experience and recommendation from your most recent employer.
